Fleet Admiral Tristan Wolf of UFOPP: Starbase 11001001 Releases Rap Single to Boost Recruitment

HOLLYWOOD–Fleet Admiral Tristan Wolf of UFOPP: Starbase 11001001 dropped a new rap song late yesterday in an effort to increase recruiting at his fleet after years of stagnant growth.  Wolf produced, directed, and mixed the song.  He also played all instrumental parts and sang lead vocals.

You down with U-F-O-P-P?

Yeah, you know me!

Who’s down with U-F-O-P-P?

Starbase One-One-Zero-Zero-One-Zero-Zero-One!

Wolf repeats the four-line lyrics 74 times in the nearly 13-minute song.  When pressed on the obvious similarities between U.F.O.P.P. and the 1991 hit single O.P.P. from Naughty by Nature, Wolf denied any plagiarism.  “I’ve never even heard of that song, so any connection is obviously impossible, okay!” he said.

The rap single is the latest in a string of recruitment campaigns by UFOPP: Starbase 11001001, which has seen its membership decline by 50% over the last four years.  In 2014, the fleet published Tristan Wolf’s autobiography, A Wolf’s Life (complete with audiobook narrated by Wolf).  In 2015, UFOPP began airing its reality show Admiraling with Wolf, starring Tristan Wolf, on YouTube.  In 2016, it published the self-help book Wolf Your Way to Success, written by Tristan Wolf.  Last year, UFOPP released Wolf’s 10-point Middle East peace plan.

According to a press bulletin from UFOPP: Starbase 11001001, Wolf will branch out into other genres, including country, reggae, and electronica, over the next few months.  It is unclear if the songs will be compiled into an album.
